When we lived in Des Moines there was a restaurant within walking distance of our house called Jethro's BBQ. They had been on Man vs Food on Food Network lots of times. They had a Hot Coleslaw that was a braised Red Cabbage and it was wonderful. This recipe is very similar. Make sure and use good Balsamic Vinegar and I would add a little extra sugar to yur taste. The final extra, a little hot sauce!!
Hope you enjoy!!
Ingredients
2 TBS vegetable oil
3/4 pound Red Cabbage, sliced thin (about 6 cups)
